Monday, May 25, 2009. Rockhopper Penguins are part of a family called Crested Penguins because of the brightly colored feathers on their heads. These bright feathers look like long eyebrows. They have a bright orange-red bill, and bright red eyes. They are up to 22 inches tall and weigh about 6 pounds. They live on most islands in the Antarctic Region.
